INFORMATION
This version of EpyPlus contains mainly technological updates, which constitute a first phase of a whole series of planned modernizations, which will be realized and released in the next months.
The TextManager has been completely rewritten, introducing new features and ensuring better performance for customers who need to edit, insert or translate texts.
Version 9.9.1 will allow you to print SDSs calculated from version 9.2 onwards.
Since version 9.6.1 the EpyExchange function is no longer supported. Who is still using it, please contact our support service for further information.
With this version, the Report Reach module will be automatically replaced with the Report Manager, new advanced reporting tool and list management.
REQUIREMENTS
To install the latest release of version 9.9 it is necessary that version 9.6 is already installed.
Since the release 9.5 it has become a fundamental prerequisite to have installed the .NET Framework 3.5.
With the end of Support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, expected by Microsoft in January 2020, Telematic will no longer guarantee compatibility on these operating systems.
In anticipation of these changes, in the next releases of our software will also change the prerequisite for the Framework.NET. The versions used for our applications will be 3.5 and 4.5.
We invite all customers to reinstall the applications on more modern operating systems, making sure to have installed the Framework.NET 4.5.
EpyPlus is not longer available for Windows XP.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Before updating the software it is absolutely essential to make a back-up copy of the archives. Save a copy of the program Archive folder, either in local or on server according to how EpyPlus is configured on your system. Make certain there are no urgent operations in progress on the system. Do not switch off your computer until the update is complete. We remember that once installed 9.9 version, a downgrade isn’t possible. Before to proceed with the update, it’s very important also to switch the Windows regional settings to English language. At the end of the update you can come back to your original Windows regional settings.
To launch the version update, proceed as follows:
- Download the file EpyPlusSp-991.exe onto the computer on which EPYPlus is installed.
- Copy the downloaded file (EpyPlusSp-991.exe), in the folder containing EPYPlus (usually in the folder C: Telematic\EpyPlus or C: Program Files\EpyPlus).
- Check that no other users are using the program.
- Disable your anti-virus.
- Double-click on EpyPlusSp-991.exe and proceed with the update.
- When complete, an ‘update successful’ message will appear.
- Operations 1 to 6 must be carried out on all EPYPlus clients.
